Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-12-18T11:12Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
Activity ID: 2024-12-18T11:12:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Active Region Number: 13920
Note Keyword:
GAP: Data gap
Source Signature Keyword:
BR: Brightening
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME first visible to the NW in SOHO LASCO C2 starting at 2024-12-18T11:12Z. Also visible to the NW for a couple frames in SOHO LASCO C3 but is very faint. CME is mostly covered by a data gap in STEREO A COR2 from 2024-12-18T11:38Z to 2024-12-18T16:38Z. The source of this CME is most likely some minor brightening and general, continuous activity best seen in GOES SUVI 304 from AR 3920 in the NW for a few hours prior to and after the CME first emerges into SOHO LASCO C2, but there is no clearly definitive source candidate.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |
